Pen Tool

Pen Tool:

Pen Tool: Click on this icon. Next click on your selected image and with the left-mouse button drag the mouse across to draw a line. The left-mouse button will give you the forecolor. Repeat the above draggin the right-mouse button and you will get the backcolor.

You can also use the Color Palette (located on the right-hand side) to choose your colors. Click with the left-mouse button to choose the forecolor in the color palette and click with the right-mouse button to choose the backcolor in the color palette. There is also a Transparency bar where you can control the degree of transparency of the color.

Transparency - At the bottom of the Color Palette the transparency slider will adjust the degree of transparency of the pen tool. Please note that if the slider is moved to the far left at 0 (zero) it will be completely transparent and not seen. To start you may want to move the slider to the middle at 50 to check the appearance and then adjust it to whatever number you want.

When you click the Pen Tool icon the Tool Options - Pen is displayed on the lower right hand side of the screen. (underneath the Color Palette)

This will provide additional adjustable option such as Size, Smoothness and Step. Simply move the bar to adjust for each option.
