Error Message 'Direct3d Device lost'
Why do I get the Error Message 'Direct3d Device lost'?
1. You do not have Direct X
Please see:
System Requirements There is a link to download the latest version from Microsoft.
2. eCover 3D has very advanced features that require computers with modern video cards. The video cards must be compatible with Direct X, 32 MB video memory to ensure the best performance and results
Please note: While some video cards will work with new versions of Direct X it will not utilize newer features beyond Direct X6 because the video hardware will not support this.
As a result, when eCover 3d tries to activate features that the video card does not support, then Direct X is down and you receive the error message 'Direct3d Device lost'.
